The book covers twenty years in the life of Charlie Crane—his real name—reclusive mountain man and murderer of many as his mind slowly deteriorates. At times, he completely forgets the girl down in the pit. Then comes the storm of the century. Skye, Rider Bishop, a close friend, and a boy called Snake, after many terrifying experiences, rescue the girl from the rising waters in the pit where she has somehow survived for the past fifteen years. Skye is in for the surprise of her life! As the platform slowly rises up from the black pit, Skye screams. The girl who crouches there is the exact image of herself.

SKYE DANCER was chosen to be featured on the State of Washington Library website in December 2006 under Mysteries of the Northwest. It is now on Amazon's Kindle.

The Author

Lila Pinord's first book SKYE DANCER was published in 2003 and the second EVIL LIVES IN BLUE ROCK came out in 2005. MIN’S MONSTER, her latest, came out in 2007. Lila is a contributor to 200 AUTHORS AND HOW THEY WERE PUBLISHED and THE PUBLISHED AUTHORS’ GUIDE TO PROMOTION. Her story DAY OF THE CLOWNS appears in the SHAMELESS SHORTS Anthology.
